The Word

For the next few weeks, we are going to think more about who Jesus is (and who he is to you and me) by looking at the names by which he is called. The eternal God of the universe has come down to us. He made himself one of us, So whatever you need, no matter how near or far away he seems, all you have to do is call his name.

To call him the Word reveals two world-shaping, life-altering truths: To see Jesus is to see God.  To know Jesus is to know God, his very heart, his unfailing love and faithfulness. To receive and believe Jesus makes possible a personal relationship with God. You align your life-your priorities, your behavior-with what Jesus reveals about who he is (and who you are).
