Student Spring Escape April 27th

Grades 7-12

The passion of Woodburn Baptist Student Ministry is to teach, model, and provide opportunities for experiences that lead to a life of transformation and purpose. Our goal is
to see teens who are far from God brought into a growing relationship with
Christ and then be sent out on mission for Jesus. By the time a teenager graduates from high school they should have the tools and desire necessary for continuous growth in their relationship with God, be connected to others in the church who model what it is to
live for and love Christ, and go out into the world and make disciples.

Attend One - Serve One
We love to provide opportunities for our students to discover and grow their gifts. We also understand the importance of being in church services with adults. Therefore, we encourage our students to attend at least one of the 4 Sunday morning worship services, and serve during another. Service opportunities include helping with children, usher ministry, greeting, hospitality, worship, tech/media, etc. We want our students to learn the value of serving!

Small Groups
Our small groups have the goal of connecting teens together in a safe environment to foster friendships, teach Biblical principles, and find the encouragement and support to live out a Christ-like life. This is the heart of our youth ministry. Life-change happens best in the framework of a small group.   Small groups are determined by gender and grade so that each student can interact with other students in the same phase of life.
