Mission Friends
Our Mission Friends class includes children 3 years old thru kindergarten. This group meets on Wednesday nights from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. When you visit this room you will hear the children learning about Jesus through bible stories and music. You will see them making crafts that go along with the stories and places they are learning about.
JAM
"Jesus and Me" is where kindergartners meet to learn more about the Bible, how to look up scripture and what God's Word means to us while increasing their reading and writing skills. JAM class meets from February to August and prepares them for the transition to Kids 4 Christ class.
Kids 4 Christ
This Group includes children grades 1 through 6. They meet on Wednesday night from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. The kids learn about Jesus and their Bibles through Bible drills, music, Bible quiz, and Bible lessons. Kids 4 Christ have helped with projects such as Samaritans Purse - Shoe Box program. They try to take a mission trip once a year to help spread the good news of Jesus Christ to others.
Adult Prayer Meeting
For a lot of us, weekdays are full and rushed. At our midweek meeting folks come as they are from work, home, or school. We get together, unload our stresses, and pray together. The remainder of the hour is spent in Bible study. Discussion is open and participation is lively. It's spiritual refreshment during the time of the week when everybody needs it most.
The youth ministry at Woodburn Baptist Church is an awesome place to get connected to other believers that are in middle and high school. We have between 35-45 youth each Wednesday night from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. We meet as one group for singing and a time of worship. We have a small group ministry on Sunday Nights from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. that is grade and gender specific.
