Children and Young Adults

Nursery - Our church provides nursery for babies, during the worship services and the Sunday school hour

Preschool 1 - This class is for children that are 15 months - 2 years old. Kellie and Dan McDermott, along with Marilyn Hester are the teachers of this fun class. Your child will begin to learn that God loves them. This class will stimulate your child in many different ways.

Preschool 2 - This class is for children that are 3 years old. Todd and Christina Oller along with Jeff and Lisa Williams are the teachers of this fun class. Your child will begin to learn that God loves them. This class will stimulate your child in many different ways.

Preschool 3 - This class is for children 4 years old . This class led by Zak & Kim Wren and Tina King are guaranteed to be a blessing to your child. Not only will they learn about the Lord but will also begin to learn about his word.

Kindergarten - Kacy Harris, DeAnn McElroy and Heather Sprouse are the teachers for this class.

1st Grade Class - If your child is in 1st grade they will love this class. Mr. David Brown and Brenda Maxwell. They prepare every Sunday so that your child can learn more about what Jesus has done and will do for them. Your child will learn how to use their Bible and apply scripture to everyday life.

2nd Grade Class - Teachers are Amy Lawrence and Amanda Kohnen.

3rd Grade Class - Greg and Cindy Snazelle teach this group of kids. A beautiful class taught by great people will be a huge blessing to your child.

4th Grade Class - This class led by Don and Teresa Dyer, will motivate and encourage your child to value the importance of having Jesus as Lord of their life. Weekly lessons are prepared so that all children will be blessed.

5th Grade Class - Ready to learn and full of questions. Jill Willingham is teaching the 5th grade class.

6th Grade Class - As you know this is a very critical age for your child. So many things are learned by children this age. Woodburn is blessed to have Monisa Wright along with Norm and Cathy Poppy teach this class.

7th & 8th Grade Class - This junior high class is taught by Krysti and Bobby Floyd. Woodburn is blessed to have many teenagers within our congregation. Krysti and Bobby love the Lord and love kids.

9th & 10 Grade Class - Jason Phillips along with David and Cindy Burnette teach this class.

11 thru 12th Grade Class - Stacey & Michelle Hunt are leading our senior high class. This is a growing part of our youth ministry. They are beginning not only to bond with each other but they are beginning to allow the Lord to take control of their lives.

Adult Classes

College & Career Class - If you are a college-aged student, you will love this informative class. Dr. John O'Brien has a genuine Love for Christ and it is evident in all he does. College people, get out of bed and come be blessed.

Young Couples - Lead by Brett and Jana Hightower this class includes college age adults and those just starting families. Singles and couples are welcome to this class.

Young Singles - A class for young single adults for college age or older is lead by Tina and Brandon Harris.

Adult I - This is a mixed age younger adult class taught by Dennis Smith.

Adult 2 - This class is taught by Mark McElroy, Lori Chaffin & Brian Mefford. Come and be a part of this Bible study and apply these lessons to your life. This class is a very energetic group, most have younger children and enjoy getting together for fellowships.

Adult 3 - Brenda Derr and Mark Sweeny lead this class. Reading the Bible and applying it to our lives is a big part of this class.

Adult 4 - Jack Wright and Kathy Robinson lead this class. Reading the Bible and applying it to our lives is a big part of this class.

Adult 5 - Kenton Powell and Rick Roepke lead this class of mixed ages.

Adult 6 - Bro. Don Harris leads this class of adults "the group that never ages" as they call themselves. Don's love for his God, his family and his church is seen constantly. This group of folks is prayer warriors of our church and community.

Ladies Bible Study - This class is led by Tracie Reels. Our ladies are blessed to have Tracie as their leader. Come experience Christ with other ladies of the church, we have ladies of all ages, all ladies welcome..

Faithful Friends - This group of Ladies are 50 + age. Mavonna Bowman helps guide the Bible study. If you fit this age group, be sure to join us.

Golden Circle Class - Nancy Roberts facilitates the discussion and lesson of this class. This class does so many things for our growing church. Woodburn is blessed weekly by this great class!
